Morphing Games FAQ

1.) What is this anyway?

The Morphing Games is a cross-over story based on the Twilight and Hunger Games fandom, but you need not have read either to understand the story.

2.) Cool, Rose, tell me more?

Really? Okay. Well here’s the teaser:

Twenty-four names drawn at random, by the end all but one will be dead. The final survivor receives the ultimate prize: immortality. My name is Bella Swan, and I’m a Prospective in the 100th Morphing Games. There’s only one problem: I don’t want to win.

3.) Whaaa?

Just read the story. You’ll get it then, I promise.

4.) This story looks really sad/bleak, will there be a HEA?

If you can’t read a story that doesn’t have a  HEA, this story isn’t for you. I don’t say that because there isn’t going to be a HEA– in some ways the ending I have is the happiest possible outcome staying true to the story I’m telling. But this is a story about people in bad circumstances that only get worse.

“The Morphing Games is special in that it examines not only the problem of how to survive when everyone wants to kill you, but the question if it’s possible to kill and still retain your humanity.”   

With a central theme such as this, this is obviously not going to be fluffy.

5.) UPDAAATE!

Wow thanks! I’m so excited your enjoying the story. I have thirteen chapters pre-written at the moment. And am in the editing process with them. I try to update weekly, but my schedule is really dependent on my betas and pre-readers!

6.) Why does this story sound so similar to The Hunger Games? Are you plagiarizing?

Nope, I’m doing a cross-over. Which means I take plot and concepts from both series! Yes I stole some lines directly from the books but I always try to twist them around in my own way. For example, although the first chapter opens with Bella waking up in bed, unlike Katnisses bed her bed is cold and  she is alone.

I wanted to show the differences right there between the two lives.

7.) Is Edward dead, because there was a grave stone?

No, Edward is not dead. I. Promise. 

8.) Are there mates in this story?

Yes. Mates will play a huge part. We’ll learn more about them later.
